Tips and Tricks for Perfecting the Art of Effortless Makeup

The heavier, more noticeable makeup is going out of style, and people are trying to experiment with makeup in wearable ways. Trends are undoubtedly shifting. Right now, I'm into what I refer to as the "reverse application," where I begin by creating some definition with my eyes and brows rather than my base.

You quickly discover that, in this case, less actually is more and that you need to apply half as much concealer as you would have if you had begun in the more conventional manner.

I adore it. It also means you can experiment with your lips and eyes because your basis is lighter and much younger. Like a butterfly, I'm loving the process of escaping my locked cocoon. Right now, my favorite looks include a well-groomed brow, curled lashes from mascara, and a bold yet elegant red or pink lipstick that is flawlessly done.
